Broccoli And Onions With Cheese Sauce
|Frozen cut broccoli||10 Ounce (1 Package)|
|Green onion||1 , cut into thin strips|
|Skim milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Neufchatel cheese||1 1⁄2 Ounce, softened|
|Lemon juice||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Dried basil||1⁄4 Teaspoon, crushed|
|Dried rosemary||1⁄8 Teaspoon, crushed|
In a 1 1/2-quart casserole combine broccoli, onion, and water.
Micro-cook, covered, on 100% power (HIGH) for 4 to 7 minutes or till broccoli is tender, stirring every 3 minutes.
Drain broccoli and onion mixture well.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl combine skim milk, Neufchatel cheese, cornstarch, lemon juice, basil, and rosemary with a wire whisk.
Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power (HIGH) for 2 to 3 minutes or till thickened and bubbly, stirring every minute.
