Spiced Cherry Sauce
|Tart red cherries||4 Ounce (frozen, thawed)|
|Light corn syrup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||3 Tablespoon|
|Allspice||1⁄4 Teaspoon, ground|
|Cloves||1⁄4 Teaspoon, ground|
|Cinnamon||1⁄4 Teaspoon, ground|
Drain cherries, reserving syrup.
Combine cherry syrup with remaining ingredients and dash salt; bring to boil.
Reduce heat; simmer 15 minutes; stir frequently.
Remove from heat; stir in cherries.
