Cranberry Apple Sauce
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Cranberries||8 Ounce (2 Cups)|
|Chopped peeled cooking apple||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In a medium saucepan combine water and sugar.
Bring to boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
Boil rapidly for 5 minutes.
Add cranberries and apple.
Return to boil; reduce heat.
Boil gently for 3 to 4 minutes or till cranberry skins pop, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat; cool.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
