Thimbleberry Sauce

Ingredients
  Water 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Cornstarch 2 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix sugar and cornstarch in saucepan.
Add berries and water to sugar mixture.
Cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick.
Cool.
Stir in lemon juice.
Store in refrigerator.
Good on ice cream or angel food cake.
