Snappy Barbecue Sauce
|Catsup||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Water||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Vinegar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Celery seed||1 Teaspoon|
|Hot pepper sauce||3 Dash (bottled)|
In saucepan combine catsup, water, vinegar, sugar, Worcestershire, salt, celery seed, and bottled hot pepper sauce.
Bring the mixture to boiling; reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
Use to baste pork or beef ribs during last 15 to 20 minutes of barbecuing.
Pass remaining sauce.
