Zesty Lemon Sauce

  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (At Room Temperature)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Grated lemon peel 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt To Taste (Few Grains)

In a deep, 1-quart casserole combine sugar and cornsarch.
Gradually stir in water.
Cook, uncovered, on high 3 to 4 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth.
Stir occasionally.
Add butter, lemon juice, lemon peel and salt.
