Backburner Barbecue Sauce For Ribs

Ingredients
  Tomato catsup 14 Ounce
  Onions 2 , chopped
  Bell peppers 2 , seeded and chopped
  Garlic 12 Clove (60 gm), minced
  Hot chili 6 Small, minced (Fresh)
  Dried hot chilies 1 Tablespoon, crushed
  Brown sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Distilled vinegar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Mixed dried italian herbs 1 Tablespoon
  Liquid smoke flavoring 1 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Puree all the sauce ingredients in a blender. Put into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
2. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until the sauce is thick and glossy (approximately 15-20 minutes).
3. Use at once or store for up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator, in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
