Backburner Barbecue Sauce For Ribs
|Tomato catsup||14 Ounce|
|Onions||2 , chopped|
|Bell peppers||2 , seeded and chopped|
|Garlic||12 Clove (60 gm), minced|
|Hot chili||6 Small, minced (Fresh)|
|Dried hot chilies||1 Tablespoon, crushed|
|Brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Distilled vinegar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Mixed dried italian herbs||1 Tablespoon|
|Liquid smoke flavoring||1 Teaspoon|
1. Puree all the sauce ingredients in a blender. Put into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
2. Reduce the heat and simmer, stirring frequently, until the sauce is thick and glossy (approximately 15-20 minutes).
3. Use at once or store for up to 3 weeks in the refrigerator, in a jar with a tight-fitting lid.
