Mustard Cream Sauce
|Dry white wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Finely chopped green onion||2 Tablespoon|
|Whipping cream||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dijon-style mustard||4 Teaspoon|
|White pepper||To Taste|
In a medium saucepan, combine wine and green onion.
Bring to a simmer; simmer 5 minutes or until liquid reduces to 2 tablespoons.
Watch carefully, stirring occasionally, to prevent burning.
Stir in cream; simmer 10 to 15 minutes or until sauce reduces to 3/4 cup.
Whisk in mustard; season with salt and white pepper to taste.
