Peach Dessert Sauce
|Chopped peaches||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs) (Fresh Or Frozen Unsweetened)|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Finely shredded lemon peel||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Ground cinnamon||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Ground nutmeg||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Frozen yogurt/Vanilla frozen yogurt||2 3⁄5 Cup (41.6 tbs), 8 scoops, 1/3 cup each (Lemon Or Vanilla Flavored)|
Mash 3/4 cup of the chopped peaches; set aside.
In saucepan stir together sugar, cornstarch, lemon peel, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt.
Add water; mix well.
Stir in mashed peaches and chopped peaches.
Cook and stir fill thickened and bubbly Reduce heat; simmer for 5 to 7 minutes or till desired consistency, stirring occasionally
Remove from heat; serve warm over scoops of lemon or vanilla frozen yogurt.
