Pasta With Spicy Meat Sauce
|Tomato sauce||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Beef broth||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Soy sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Curry powder||2 Teaspoon|
|Chili paste||2 Teaspoon|
|Egg noodles||1 Pound (Fresh, 1 Package)|
|Sesame oil||2 Teaspoon|
|Vegetable oil||1 Tablespoon|
|Minced garlic||2 Teaspoon|
|Minced fresh ginger||1 Teaspoon|
|Lean ground pork/Lean ground beef||3⁄4 Pound|
|Onion||1⁄2 Small, coarsely chopped|
|Cornstarch||2 Teaspoon, mixed with 4 teaspoons water|
|Water||4 Tablespoon (For Mixing The Cornstarch)|
|Green onions||2 , thinly sliced (Including Tops, For Garnish)|
Preparation Combine sauce ingredients in a medium bowl and set aside.
Cooking In a large pot of boiling water, cook noodles according to package directions until tender but firm to the bite.
Toss noodles with sesame oil.
Transfer to a serving bowl and set aside.
Place a wok or wide frying pan over high heat until hot.
Add vegetable oil, swirling to coat sides.
Add garlic, ginger, pork, and onion and stir-fry for 3 minutes or until meat is browned and crumbly.
Add sauce and bring to a boil.
Reduce heat and simmer for 3 minutes.
Add cornstarch solution and cook, stirring, until sauce boils and thickens.
Pour sauce over noodles.
Garnish with green onions.
