Mom'S Mushroom Sauce
|Sliced fresh mushrooms||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Beef cooking liquid||1 Cup (16 tbs), strained|
|Cornstarch||1 1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sliced green onion tops||1 Tablespoon (Thinly Sliced)|
Melt butter in medium saucepan over medium-high heat.
Add mushrooms; cook and stir 5 minutes.
Remove and reserve.
Add cooking liquid, cornstarch, salt and pepper to pan.
Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, 1 to 2 minutes.
Remove from heat.
Stir in reserved mushrooms and the green onion.
