Quick Tomato Sauce With Marsala

Ingredients
  Peeled plum tomatoes/Canned italian plum tomatoes 2 Cup (32 tbs)
  Butter 2 Tablespoon
  Onions 2 Small, chopped fine
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), chopped fine
  Bacon slices 4 , cooked and crumbled
  Salt To Taste
  Freshly ground black pepper To Taste
  Marsala wine 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Dried oregano 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

1. Put the tomatoes through a food mill. Do not use a blender. A food mill will puree the pulp and get rid of the seeds; a blender chops the seeds along with the tomatoes.
2. In a large skillet or medium saucepan, melt the butter and cook the onions until soft. Add the garlic, tomato puree, and crumbled bacon. Then add salt and pepper to taste. Boil this sauce hard for 3 minutes.
3. Add the marsala and oregano, and cook for another 5 minutes.
