Soy Lemon Basting Sauce

Ingredients
  Brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
  Cornstarch 1 Teaspoon
  Lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
  Soy sauce 2 Tablespoon
  Water 2 Tablespoon
  Green onion with tops 2 Tablespoon, sliced
  Butter/Margarine 1 Tablespoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), minced
Directions

In saucepan blend brown sugar and cornstarch.
Stir in lemon juice, soy sauce, and water.
Add onion, butter, and garlic.
Cook and stir till thickened and bubbly.
Use to baste poultry or fish during last 15 minutes of barbecuing
