Raisin Caramel Sauce
|Packed brown sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cream/Half and half||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Golden raisins||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), plumped|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
1. Heat butter in a small saucepan. Add brown sugar and stir over low heat until smooth. Remove from heat.
2. Add cream very slowly, stirring until blended after each addition. Heat about 1 minute. Stir in raisins and vanilla extract. Serve warm or chilled.
