Chick Pea Sauce
|Dried chick peas||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Cold water||1 Cup (16 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)|
|Lemon juice||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
1. Pick over and wash the chickpeas and put them in a bowl. Pour in water to cover. Let soak overnight.
2. Add lemon juice and blend in an electric blender or process in a food processor until smooth, adding more water if necessary. Season with salt to taste.
