Wine Chocolate Sauce

Ingredients
  Unsweetened chocolate square 2
  Butter 1 Tablespoon
  Cream 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  White corn syrup 2 Tablespoon
  Sherry 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Vanilla 1⁄2 Teaspoon
Directions

Melt chocolate and butter in top of double boiler, add cream, sugar, salt and syrup.
Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes or longer to get desired thickness.
Stir, if necessary, to prevent burning.
Remove from heat; add sherry and vanilla.
This sauce keeps well in refrigerator for 2 weeks or longer.
