Party Chicken A La Dorothea Sauce
|Flour||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Whole milk||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
|Mushroom soup||4 Can (40 oz)|
|Velveeta cheese||2 Pound, cubed|
|Sharp cheese||8 Ounce, grated|
|Beer||1 Can (10 oz)|
|Dry sherry||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Green peppers||2 Large, cubed|
|Canned mushroom stems and pieces||14 Ounce (2 Cans, 7 Ounce Each)|
|Canned chopped pimentos||14 Ounce (2 Cans, 7 Ounce Each)|
Add flour, stirring constantly until smooth.
Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
Add mushroom soup and mix well.
Add Velveeta cheese and grated sharp cheese.
Stir :onstantly until all cheese is entirely melted; add salt and pepper.
Add beer, a little at a time, beating well.
Add sherry gradually.
Saute green peppers in butter until soft, but still bright green.
Add to sauce along with mushrooms and pimentos.
