Party Chicken A La Dorothea Sauce

Ingredients
  Butter 1⁄4 Pound
  Flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Whole milk 4 Cup (64 tbs)
  Mushroom soup 4 Can (40 oz)
  Velveeta cheese 2 Pound, cubed
  Sharp cheese 8 Ounce, grated
  Beer 1 Can (10 oz)
  Dry sherry 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Green peppers 2 Large, cubed
  Canned mushroom stems and pieces 14 Ounce (2 Cans, 7 Ounce Each)
  Canned chopped pimentos 14 Ounce (2 Cans, 7 Ounce Each)
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

Melt butter.
Add flour, stirring constantly until smooth.
Add milk slowly, stirring constantly.
Add mushroom soup and mix well.
Add Velveeta cheese and grated sharp cheese.
Stir :onstantly until all cheese is entirely melted; add salt and pepper.
Add beer, a little at a time, beating well.
Add sherry gradually.
Saute green peppers in butter until soft, but still bright green.
Add to sauce along with mushrooms and pimentos.
