Chocolate Flavored Sauce
|Carob powder||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Granulated fructose||1 Teaspoon|
|Skim milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Evaporated skim milk||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Vanilla extract||1 Teaspoon|
Combine carob powder, fructose, and cornstarch in a heavy or nonstick saucepan.
Slowly add skim milk and evaporated skim milk.
Cook and stir over medium heat until mixture is thick and smooth.
Remove from heat, and stir in vanilla.
Cover and cool before serving.
