|Butter||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Pecans||1 Ounce, finely chopped|
|Brown sugar||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Water||3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)|
1. In 2-quart saucepan over medium-low heat, in hot butter or margarine, brown pecans.
2. Stir in brown sugar. In cup, stir water and cornstarch until smooth. Stir into pecan mixture; cook over medium-high heat until mixture thickens slightly and boils, stirring.
