|Vanilla extract||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
– In a saucepan, boil milk, vanilla extract, and salt.
– In a bowl, beat egg yolks with sugar. Keep stirring while pouring boiling milk into mixture.
– Return mixture to stove. Cook, stirring constantly until creamy.
– Remove from heat and cool.
