Tomato Chili Sauce

  Olive oil 2 Teaspoon
  Yellow onion 1 Medium, finely chopped
  Sweet green pepper 1 Large, cored, seeded, and finely chopped
  Chili powder 2 Tablespoon (Adjust Quantity As Per Taste)
  Minced fresh oregano/1 teaspoon dried oregano, crumbled 1 Tablespoon, crumbled
  Ground cumin 1 Tablespoon
  Tomatoes 2 Large, peeled, seeded and chopped
  Low sodium tomato sauce 1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)
  Salt 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Jalapeno peppers 2 Medium, seeded and finely chopped
  Minced fresh cilantro 3 Tablespoon (Coriander)

1 ln a medium-size saucepan, heat the oil over moderate heat.
Add the onion and green pepper and saute, stirring occasionally, for 3 minutes.
Add the chili powder, oregano, and cumin and cook, stirring, for 1 minute.
Add the tomatoes, tomato sauce, salt, and jalapefio peppers if desired, and bring to a boil.
Lower the heat and simmer, covered, for 20 minutes.
Stir in the cilantro.
