Eggless Strawberry Sauce

Strawberry Sauce is an amazingly easy to prepare dessert which cannot just escape your guest's attention in any party. Try this delicious Strawberry Sauce; I am sure you will get a huge fan following for this!
Ingredients
  Frozen strawberries 2 Cup (32 tbs) (Fresh Or Defrosted)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Kirsch/Grand marnier / cognac 4 Tablespoon
Directions

1. Rub the strawberries through a fine sieve or squeeze through cheesecloth wrung out in cold water. Discard the pulp.
2. Combine the sugar and water in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer gently five minutes.
3. Combine the sugar syrup with the sieved strawberries and flavor with kirsch, Grand Marnier or cognac. Chill well.
