Asparagus With Browned Butter Sauce
|Fresh asparagus bunches||2 Small|
|Butter||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Lemon juice||1 Tablespoon|
Cut off woody base of each asparagus spear.
Remove scales, if sandy, and wash thoroughly.
Cook, covered, in boiling salted water until tender.
Drain asparagus and arrange spears on heated serving dish.
Melt and lightly brown butter in small pan over low heat, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat; stir in lemon juice.
Pour browned butter sauce evenly over asparagus.
