Ingredients
  Bay leaf 1
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), crushed in a garlic press
  Onion 1 Large, chopped
  Vinegar 1 Teaspoon
  Fresh ripe tomatoes 2 Pound, peeled and chopped
  Sugar 2 Teaspoon
  Whole cloves 2
  Butter 3 Tablespoon
  Salt To Taste
  Pepper To Taste
Directions

1. Melt butter in a saucepan; add onion and cook until translucent.
2. Add tomatoes and remaining ingredients.
3. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes.
