Chicken & Peppers In White Wine Sauce
|Bacon||1⁄2 Pound, cut into 3/4 inch strips|
|Chicken||3 Pound, cut up|
|Onion||1 Large, coarsely chopped|
|Green pepper||1 Large, coarsely chopped|
|Pepper red||1 Large, coarsely chopped|
|Ground thyme||1⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Black olives||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), sliced|
|Dry white wine||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
In 3 quart casserole, place bacon and microwave at high (10) 2 to 3 minutes.
Place chicken in casserole, skin side down.
Microwave at high (10) 7 to 9 minutes; turn over chicken after 4 minutes and drain off fat.
Add onion, green pepper, red pepper, sage, thyme, salt, pepper and olives.
Pour wine over chicken.
Microwave at high (10) 8 to 11 minutes; stir.
Microwave at medium high (7) 8 to 11 minutes.
