Turkey With Orange Sauce
|Turkey thighs/Turkey drumsticks||2|
|Onion||1 Medium, sliced|
|Thawed orange juice concentrate||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) (Undiluted)|
|Water||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Firmly packed brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Chopped parsley||2 Tablespoon|
|Soy sauce||2 Teaspoon|
|Ground ginger||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
Rinse turkey and pat dry; place on rack of broiler pan.
Broil, 4 inches from heat source, until turkey is brown.
Remove to Dutch oven or roasting pan and sprinkle with paprika.
Arrange onion slices over turkey.
In small bowl, combine juice concentrate, water, brown sugar, parsley, soy sauce and ginger.
Pour over turkey and onions.
Cover and bake approximately 1 hour in preheated 400°F oven until turkey is tender, basting once or twice.
Slice turkey; coat with sauce and garnish with orange twists.
