Medium White Sauce
|All purpose flour||2 Tablespoon|
|Milk/Cream||1 Cup (16 tbs), scalded|
|White pepper||1 Dash|
Melt butter and gradually add flour.
Cook the roux over low heat, stirring constantly, until it is foaming.
Gradually add scalded milk and cook the mixture, stirring vigorously with a wire whisk, until thickened and smooth.
Add salt and pepper.
Simmer for 5 minutes
