Simple Lemon Sauce

Ingredients
  Cornstarch 1 Tablespoon
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (At Room Temperature)
  Butter/Margarine 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Grated lemon rind 1⁄2 Teaspoon
  Salt 1 Dash
Directions

In a deep, 1 quart, heat-resistant, non-metallic casserole combine sugar and cornstarch.
Gradually stir in water.
Heat, uncovered, on full power 3 to 4 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth.
Stir occasionally.
Add butter, lemon juice, lemon rind and salt.
