Apple Barbecue Sauce
|Green tomatoes||20 Medium|
|Sugar||5 Cup (80 tbs)|
|White vinegar||4 Cup (64 tbs)|
Wash and remove stem ends from tomatoes.
Core apples, do not peel.
Remove cores and seeds from peppers.
Put all vegetables through coarse grind of food chopper.
Combine remaining ingredients and heat to boiling.
Add ground vegetables and boil gently, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Approx. 30 minutes.
Pour while boiling into hot sterilized jars.
Fill to 1/8 from top.
Seal each jar at once.
