Herb Barbecue Sauce

Ingredients
  Chopped onion 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Vegetable shortening 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)
  Meat stock/1 bouillon cube dissolved in 1 cup boiling water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Catsup 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vinegar 2 Tablespoon
  Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
  Worcestershire sauce 1 Tablespoon
  Salt 1 Teaspoon
  Dried oregano 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Dried thyme 1⁄8 Teaspoon
Directions

In saucepan, cook onion in vegetable shortening until tender.
Add remaining ingredients and simmer 15 to 20 minutes.
