Ham Slice In Orange Sauce
|Smoked ham slice||2 Pound, cut 1 1/2 inch thick (1 piece)|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Dry mustard||1⁄2 Teaspoon|
|Grated orange peel||2 Teaspoon|
|Grated lemon peel||1 Teaspoon|
|Orange juice||1 1⁄2 Cup (24 tbs)|
Put ham slice into a baking dish.
Insert whole cloves in ham slice at 1-inch intervals.
Sprinkle a mixture of the brown sugar, dry mustard, and orange and lemon peels over the surface of the ham.
Pour 1 cup of the orange juice over ham.
Bake at 300Â°F about 45 minutes, or until thoroughly heated, spooning the liquid over ham slice occasionally during baking.
Blend the remaining orange juice with the cornstarch.
Remove ham from oven; pour orange juice mixture into baking dish.
Return to oven for about 20 minutes, or until liquid is thickened and clear.
Remove cloves from ham slice before serving.
Garnish with lemon slices and parsley.
