Hot Mustard Sauce

Hot Mustard Sauce is east to make. The butter, sugar and vinegar gives the Hot Mustard Sauce a sizziling taste.
Ingredients
  Dry mustard 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Salt 1⁄4 Teaspoon
  Butter 1 Tablespoon, melted
  Cider vinegar 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Mix the mustard, sugar, and salt thoroughly in a bowl.
Stir in butter, vinegar, and enough boiling water to make a thick sauce.

Does anyone have the recipe for hot ham sauce that does not contain milk or cream. I recall it having dry mustard, water, vinegar, sugar and beaten egg yolk if not mistaken. Family member who served it all the time has passed on.

The recipe also DID NOT have butter in it. Thank you
