Sirloin With Blue Ribbon Sauce
|Beef sirloin steak||2 Pound, cut about 1.5 inch thick|
|Thinly sliced onion||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Lemon||1 , thinly sliced|
|Butter/Margarine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Prepared mustard||2 Tablespoon|
|Chili sauce||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Worcestershire sauce||1 Tablespoon|
|Chili powder||1 Teaspoon|
|Cocktail vegetable juice||6 Ounce (1 Can)|
Brown steak on both sides in a small amount of fat in a large skillet with a heat-resistant handle.
Remove from heat.
Season with salt.
Arrange onion and lemon slices to cover meat.
Cream butter and mustard together; blend in the chili sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and chili powder.
Spread mixture over onion and lemon.
Pour cocktail vegetable juice into skillet.
Bake at 350Â°F 20 to 30 minutes, or until meat is medium rare or well done.
