Simple Sweet-And-Sour Sauce

This simple sweet and sour sauce is a cooked sauce prepared with spices along with lemon juice to taste. flavored with added garlic and soy sauce, the sweet and sour sauce can be served as a dipping sauce for tempuras or grilled veggies.
Ingredients
  Lemon juice 5 Teaspoon
  Water 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Soy sauce 1 Teaspoon
  Garlic 1 Clove (5 gm), cut into pieces
  Sugar 1 Teaspoon
  Pimento 1 Teaspoon, chopped
  Chinese spice 1⁄2 Teaspoon (Gifford's)
  Dessert spice 1⁄4 Teaspoon (Gifford's)
Directions

1. Combine all ingredients and cook for 10 minutes, uncovered.
2. Discard garlic. Store in refrigerator until served.
