How To Make Dairy Free Basil Cream Sauce

Try this easy Basil Cream Sauce - it's perfect for topping zoodles or gluten-free pasta!

Ingredients

Cashews 1 Cup (16 tbs) , soaked until soft for minimum of 3
Water 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Lemon 1 , juiced and zested
Nutritional yeast 2 Tablespoon (optional)
Miso 2 Teaspoon
Fresh garlic 2 Clove (10 gm) , chopped
Fresh basil leaves 1 Cup (16 tbs) , chopped
Sea salt To Taste
Freshly ground black pepper To Taste

Directions

MAKING:

In a blender, combine soaked cashews, water, lemon juice, lemon zest, nutritional yeast, miso, garlic and blend until smooth.

Add garlic, basil, salt, pepper and blend well.

SERVING:

Serve with gluten free pasta and enjoy!
