Bittersweet Chocolate Sauce De Luxe

Ingredients
  Unsweetened chocolate 2 Ounce
  Heavy cream 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon
Directions

Heat all ingredients together in the top of a double boiler set over hot (not steaming) water; stir frequently until smooth.
Sauce may be stored, covered, in refrigerator.
Serve hot for ice cream sundaes or cool for ice cream sodas.
