Maple Pecan Sauce
|Maple syrup||1 1⁄3 Cup (21.33 tbs)|
|Lemon peel strip||2|
|Cinnamon stick||1 , crushed and broken into pieces|
|Chopped pecans||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
Combine the syrup, lemon peel, cinnamon, and cloves in a saucepan, simmer gently for 5 minutes, add vanilla, and let cool.
Strain the syrup into a container, stir in the nuts and store, covered, in the refrigerator.
