Sangria

Ingredients
  Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
  Sugar 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)
  Light corn syrup 3⁄4 Cup (12 tbs)
  Orange 1 , sliced
  Lemon 1 , sliced
  Lime 1 , sliced
  Red wine 750 Milliliter (1 bottle inexpensive Chilean, Spanish or Italian variety)
  Club soda 250 Milliliter (1/4 bottle or more)
Directions

Boil water and sugar together 10 minutes.
Cool.
In 2-quart pitcher, place 3/4 cup syrup and fruit slices.
Pour in wine, add ice cubes and about 1/4 bottle club soda (more if you wish).
Stir with wooden spoon or paddle.
