|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dry red wine||3⁄4 Quart (1 Bottle)|
|Orange flavored liqueur||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs), flavored|
|Club soda||7 Ounce (1 Bottle)|
|Cracked ice||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
Thinly slice outer peel from orange with vegetable peeler.
Put peel in large pitcher with sugar.
Bruise peel with back of spoon to release oils.
Add wine and liqueur.
Chill 15 minutes.
Garnish with thin orange slices, if desired.
