Lime Sangria Float
|Sugar syrup||1 Tablespoon|
|Lime juice||1 1⁄2 Tablespoon|
|Sparkling water/Club soda||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs), chilled|
|Ice cubes||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|Dry red wine||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chilled|
For each serving, use a glass that wall hold at least 1 1/2 cups.
In glass, blend 2 tablespoons sugar syrup, lime juice, and chilled sparkling water.
Drop in 4 or 5 ice cubes, then carefully pour chilled red wine onto ice; the wine will float in a distinct layer on the sparkling-water base.
