Double Orange Sangria
|Sugar||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Dry red wine||4⁄5 Quart (1 Bottle)|
|Orange liqueur||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Carbonated water||14 Ounce, chilled (Two 7 Ounce Bottle)|
Thinly slice the outer peel from half the orange (use rest of orange as desired).
Place peel and sugar in large pitcher.
Press peel firmly against the pitcher with the back of a spoon.
Stir in wine and liqueur.
Just before serving, remove peel and pour in carbonated water, stirring lightly.
