  Whipped cream dressing 1 Tablespoon
  Ripe firm tomatoes 2 Medium, peeled and cut in 3 slices each
  White bread slice 3 , toasted and buttered
  Lettuce leaves 3 Large (Use Crisp Variety)
  Cooked ham slice 3
  Swiss cheese slice 3

Prepare dressing and refrigerate.
Sprinkle tomato slices with salt and pepper.
To make each sandwich, put 1 slice of toast, buttered side up, on an individual salad plate.
Cover toast with 1 lettuce leaf, 1 slice ham, 1 slice cheese, and 2 tomato slices.
Top with one third of the dressing.
To complete an attractive luncheon plate, put a whole spiced apple or peach and potato chips on the plate.
Garnish with watercress.
