Ingredients
  Rye bread slice 1 (1 Thick Slice)
  Thousand island dressing 2 Tablespoon (Commercial / Homemade)
  Sauerkraut 4 Ounce, rinsed in cold water and squeezed dry
  Corned beef slices 2 (Thin Slices)
  Swiss cheese slice 1
Directions

Toast bread on one side and spread the other side with thousand island dressing. Cover with a generous layer of sauerkraut and top with corned beef then with cheese. Grill until filling is heated through and cheese melts.The name tells us that we owe the reuben to the traditions of Jewish cookery. Anyone who knows New York's wonderful delicatessens will remember hot sandwiches like this
