Steak Sandwiches with Chef's Sauce
Toast six one-inch slices of French bread.
Grill or broil six steaks or one large one to your taste.
If one large steak, slice into six slices and sprinkle with freshly ground pepper.
To serve, dip slices of toast quickly in Chef's sauce; top with steak.
Spoon on remaining sauce.
Chef's Sauce: Melt 1/2 cup butter; add 3 t. bottled steak sauce, 2 t. sliced green onions, 1 1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce, and 1/4 t. salt.
