Saucy Steak Sandwich
|Tomato sauce||8 Ounce|
|Bottled steak sauce||3 Tablespoon|
|Brown sugar||2 Tablespoon|
|Cooking oil||1 Tablespoon|
|French bread slices||6|
|Round beef steak||1 Pound|
|Instant unseasoned meat tenderizer||To Taste|
In small saucepan combine tomato sauce, steak sauce, brown sugar, and oil.
Bring sauce to boiling; keep warm.
Toast French bread slices on both sides.
Cut steak into 6 pieces; pound each piece to 1/8 inch thickness.
Apply tenderizer to meat according to label directions.
In lightly greased hot skillet, cook meat 2 minutes.
Turn; cook 2 minutes more.
Sprinkle with pepper.
To serve, dip one side of each toast slice quickly into sauce.
Top each slice with a steak.
Spoon on additional sauce.
