Crab And Cheese Sandwich
|All purpose flour||3 Tablespoon|
|Gravy base||1 Teaspoon|
|Dry mustard||3⁄4 Teaspoon|
|Milk||1 3⁄4 Cup (28 tbs)|
|Sharp cheddar cheese||4 Ounce|
|Cooked crabmeat/6-ounce frozen crab meat, thawed||12 Ounce|
Melt butter or margarine in saucepan over low heat.
Blend in flour, chicken base, dry mustard, and salt.
Add milk all at once.
Cook and stir till mixture is thickened and bubbly; cook 2 minutes more.
Remove from heat; add cheese, stirring to melt.
Arrange muffin halves on ovenproof plates or platter; top each with crab meat.
Cover with cheese sauce.
Broil 4 to 5 inches from heat just till hot and bubbly, but not brown.
