|Long loaf italian bread||1|
|Mayonnaise||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs)|
|Head of lettuce||1⁄2|
|Cheese slices||1⁄2 Pound|
|Corned beef||1⁄2 Pound|
Slice bread in 3 lengthwise slices.
Butter bottom slice, and spread with mayonnaise.
Cover with lettuce, over which arrange alternate slices of tomatoes and cucumbers.
Top with buttered center slice, and spread with mustard.
Cover with cheese slices, onion, and dill pickle.
Add corned beef, and top with buttered crust.
To serve, cut through from top to bottom in 1-inch slices, and secure with toothpicks
