Denver Cheese Sandwiches
|Margarine/Butter||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Onion||1 Small, minced|
|Green pepper||1⁄2 , minced|
|Eggs||6 Small, beaten|
|Milk||1⁄3 Cup (5.33 tbs)|
|Processed swiss cheese slice||6|
|Hot buttered toast slice||12|
1. Cook onion and green pepper in melted butter for 5 minutes.
2. Mix eggs, milk, salt, and pepper to the mixture and cook, covered, on low heat until firm.
3. Spread cheese atop the mixture, cover, and cook for 5 more minutes.
4. Cut into 6 slices, place between slices of toast, and serve with Tabasco sauce.
