Lacy Oat Sandwich Wafers
|Butter||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs) (Use No Substitutes)|
|Quick-cooking oats||2 Cup (32 tbs)|
|Sugar||1 Cup (16 tbs)|
|All purpose flour||2⁄3 Cup (10.67 tbs)|
|Milk||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Corn syrup||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Semisweet chocolate chips/Milk chocolate / vanilla / white chips||2 Cup (32 tbs), melted|
In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat.
Remove from the heat.
Stir in the oats, sugar, flour, milk and corn syrup; mix well.
Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 in apart onto foil-lined baking sheets.
Bake at 375° for 8-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Cool completely; peel cookies off foil.
Spread melted chocolate on the bottom of half of the cookies; top with remaining cookies.
