Hot Turkey Sandwiches
|Carrots||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), thinly sliced diagonally (2 Small)|
|Onion||1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs), chopped (1 Medium)|
|Sliced celery||1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs)|
|Fresh thyme leaves/1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed||3⁄4 Teaspoon, snipped|
|Turkey gravy||10 1⁄2 Ounce, 1 can|
|Sliced cooked turkey||1⁄2 Pound|
|Italian bread slice||4 , diagonally sliced|
In 2-quart saucepan over medium heat, in hot margarine, cook carrots, onion, celery and thyme until vegetables are tender, stirring occasionally.
Stir in gravy.
Heat to boiling.
Heat through, stirring occasionally.
Divide turkey and gravy mixture evenly among bread slices.
